About this event

Beginner Sterling Silver Jewellery Workshop (Approx. 3 Hours)

Creative. Hands-on. Properly handmade.

These 3-hour workshops are designed for beginners who want a genuine introduction to silversmithing in a calm, supportive studio setting, with clear guidance and a solid piece of silver jewellery to take home.

Each workshop focuses on a specific sterling silver project, which will be listed with the event date. You’ll work with fresh sterling silver sheet or wire and learn traditional techniques such as sawing, shaping, soldering, texturing and polishing.

Projects are carefully designed to fit the session, allowing time to learn traditional techniques and finish a piece of solid silver jewellery properly — not just assemble it. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a personal piece of jewellery that you’ve made entirely yourself.

Workshops take place in Ali’s Forest of Dean studio. Group sizes are kept small, giving you plenty of space, time with the tools and one-to-one support throughout.

If a particular workshop catches your eye but the listed dates do not suit your diary, feel free to get in touch.
