About this event

Local music lovers are in for a treat with Songs for the Soul, a heartwarming fundraising concert in aid of the Stroud-based charity, The Door Youth Project.

This uplifting evening brings together two vibrant community choirs—Whiteshill and Ruscombe Community Choir and The Wednesdays Singing Group from Cheltenham. Set in the beautiful acoustic setting of St Laurence Church, the night promises a collaboration of shared voices for a shared purpose.

What to Expect:

  • Eclectic Program: Enjoy a wide variety of styles, from reflective, emotion-filled songs to ambitious arrangements.

  • Musical Highlights: Look forward to a performance of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody (marking the song’s 50th anniversary), a country music medley ranging from John Denver to Beyoncé, and even a touch of Metallica!
