The motorway is open and running this morning following overnight disruption.

• Conditions may vary through the morning


FLOOD DISRUPTION (Still Active)
A417 – Maisemore
The route remains affected by flooding / closures.
• Avoid low-lying Severn routes where possible
• Diversions continue via A40 / A48 corridors
• Standing water remains a risk
Tewkesbury Area


Low-lying roads and river crossings including Haw Bridge remain impacted.
River levels are falling slowly — do not attempt to drive through floodwater.


🚧 ROADWORKS & LONG-TERM ISSUES
A38 – South Gloucestershire (Thornbury / Alveston)
Ongoing works continue to affect journeys towards Bristol.
• Expect diversions and layout restrictions

Forest of Dean – Lydney
The B4234 Forest Road remains closed long-term for major works.
